This story represents so many in our national communities. It is a people problem. It is a problem of the heart that only God can change. Renew in said people a clean heart, Lord, because our children are suffering. Fathers are suffering. The family is suffering. Mothers are suffering. Siblings and grandparents are as well. We as parents have to put on our BIG BOY and BIG GIRL pants and panties on to do what is best for the innocent canvases we were blessed to bring into this world. Only then can society heal. Remember, hurt people hurt people. And, your pain is transferred to the child. So, when your children get out of hand or do things you deem disrespectful, hurtful, uncharacteristic of your guidance, please, take a look in the mirror and evaluate: what gods did you let serve you that facilitated the outcomes you see before you. I claim, in Jesus' name, that they are the root. Let's do better people. Protect the family! It is God-ordained.
